100 Cycle Days Challenege – October

That was it for October, and as I had hoped, a month of beautiful colors and many sunny days. Most of my rides were not long, just around town, but it felt good to be in the saddle so often this time of year. No more trips planned for this year, bicycle trips that is. We might still do some travelling, but sans velo. So I was happy to be able to take advantage of the nice days to get in 11 more rides, bringing the total up to 119.
HERE is the page on my website with pictures from all the rides.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. I have three kids and eight grandchildren - so I'm pretty old. Cycling, photography and walking are my favorite things.

Beautiful photos and weather — quite the opposite here overall — snow flurries falling now.
Glad you had the great weather, and attained your goal of 100 rides and then some!

I know you cancelled your trip last winter, but sure there must be something up your sleeve for this one. Congrats for all the rides. So far, I’ve done 3. is there a booby prize for 100 Cycle Days Challenge? If so, think I’d won it if I’d been a member of the group. 🙂

Good for you for your 3 rides! Amazing in fact, considering that your life has been pretty demanding these past months!!!
Yes, we have plans. In a couple of weeks we are leaving for a place on Andalucia’s Atlantic coast, Conil, where we spent a couple of months two years ago. This time we won’t stay so long. We are going to take a very slow car trip getting there, with many stops along the way.

Winter in Andelucia! That sounds terrific. You should post something about your travels, even if there’s no biking involved. I’m sure we’d all be interested.
