These banner/flags are everywhere but I chose to post photos of only two.

Again, the wind did not cooperate very well for our state flag photo.

And a bit of a tribute to our fall season. Seems that here — it is transitioning all too quickly to winter!!

Snacks, smokes and drinks… what else could you need, haha! I like the fall banner – Australians don’t do seasonal banners like that at all. I couldn’t even find advertising banners for the flag challenge this month in my little town nor flags on my rides. I did, however, laugh when I was seated underneath a picture that showed all of the state flags and the national flag when I was at a doctor’s office. If no one had been around, I would have taken a photo- the only flags I came across for the month! Have a great autumn – send Bill some rain if you get some up your way!

It would have been interesting to roll your bike into the doctor and take a photo of that picture of flags ;’-). Very interesting that you have no flags at all around your little town.
I wait (im)patiently for the November Challenge — wondering what Scott can come up with next.

I hope you are doing fairly well at the least Em. You amaze me with the riding you do and your overnights.

Again a great Collection of flags, Nancy. You put me to shame. I did have a few more flags in mind, but waited too Long. I now have a nasty bronchitis and certainly won’t be on my bike for what’s left of this month. 🙁 But up until I got sick, I had been out every day.

Suzanne I am so sorry about your bronchitis. I had some sort of head cold that lasted no less than two and half weeks, and then lingered on longer with minor symptoms. No fun, and bronchitis is worse!
My October riding days and miles left a lot to be desired. Traveling and then weather interfered a LOT with that. I am looking at November to bring much better results. Good for you to have ridden everyday. I will come as close as I can to doing that in November, but — no guarantees.

Get well but don’t rush it. We want you healthy!
