December Challenge: Red in Rod

I assume the few citizens of Rodalquivar eventually just shorten their village’s name to Rod.

I’m not that excited about today’s shot in Rodalquivar from our ride to Aqua Amarga because bougainvillea in bloom is still pretty common here.  Like Em though, I’m not seeing a lot of reds in this environment and I feel honor bound to support my own challenge.  So, I’ll go with this until something more inspiring comes along.

What I am excited about though is this region of Spain.  Empty roads, a decent midwinter climate, one jaw dropping scene after another.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

Your bike is surrounded by pinks – including the petals on the ground. Well done. I need to go ride in town and have more chances for finding red. Your chilis to start off with were outstanding.

Bougainvillea is not so common here, especially at this time of year. I think it makes a lovely picture.
