Pier 2 Art Center, Kaohsiung

This is my 6th ride for the 2018 Cycle Life Challenge which took place on 2 April 2018.

Today we will take a look at one of the most successfult revitalisation projects in Kaohsiung, the Pier 2 Art Centre located in YanChang District. In the afternoon, we will also have a relaxing ride along the Cijin Cycling Promenade.

This is great, Gary. I’ve been trying to decide whether to stay an extra night in Kaohsiung myself when we isn’t Taiwan. Looks like we should. It looks like you were really lucky with weather too – when we passed it our first time there it was quite smoggy.

Thank you Scott. I think other than the rainy reason in July and August, the weather should be fine for outdoor activities.

    Hi Gary,

Terrific ride. Terrific photos. Terrific group. Terrific levitation.

And terrific lunch. You and Keith sure put my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to shame!

Thank you Bill. Frankly speaking, I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches more than the seafood lunch.

What a beautiful ride! Routes that include art AND history are really fun and interesting – thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed all the sculptures.
