2019 distance challenge. Cycle 6,000k.

It’s going OK.  This year I set myself 6,000 kilometers to cycle and here we are half way through the year.  I too am half way through at 3,000k.

If I am to achieve the challenge though I will have to kick myself along a bit as last weeks distance was poor!

Well done on the distance, especially in the Tassie cold. Interesting reading about some Antarctic history.

Yes it’s been a bit cool recently. I just have to watch out that I don’t get out of the habit of regular riding.

Right on track to get it done — 6000km (3728 miles) is a pretty high goal!
Interesting tour of the harbor and the cycle way — Thanks!

Thanks Rich. 5,000 last year – 6,000 this. I suspect I will need to electrify the trike to keep raising the bar next year!

Congrats, Tony! Well done – great to be halfway to the goal halfway through the year. I think you will just have to plan another spring tour (oh, darn!) to ensure you have some big km weeks in the second half 🙂

Funny you should say that Emily. I have just talked Colin into trying some of the Victorian rail trails in November!
