A DAY TO BE THANKFUL

First of all, I probably should begin by answering the question that is probably on all of your minds. YES, I did create that work of art at the top of the page–all by myself.
I have to do this Holiday Challenge ride a day early because The Feeshko and I will be in Iowa on the actual Thanksgiving Day, and I will not have my bike with me. We will be visiting my dad and my two brothers & their families. I am thankful that we’ll all be together for the holiday.
I try to be thankful every day of the year because I have many things to be thankful for: My family, my home, my eyes, my dog, my internal organs, my bikes, my legs, no criminal record, oxygen, water, gravity, words, juicy hamburgers, friends, corn, music, deserts, animals, the sun–just to name a few.

Maybe Rich can chime in, but as I recall “four distinctive seasons for bike riding” when I lived in central Illinois, they were called too hot, too cold, too wet, and too windy. 😉
Happy Thanksgiving!
Pre-xactly correct!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
I am also thankful for this great group of people here, and thank you, Greg, for your wonderfully entertaining contributions!
Good one Greg. Thanks for participating in the challenge and staying your usual self by being creative. Thankful for you —- and all here.
Thanksgiving sounds nice. Alas our original settlers weren’t thankful at all as they were criminals sent here against their will. Keep up the snow photos, it’s hot outside.
Four seasons… sometimes in one day. I’m thankful for your contributions and your humour… and that one time you took photos of the stars at First Ave. Have a wonderful time with your family.
Thanks to everyone for the comments. I’m late responding because I was mostly disconnected from the internet for a few days. I had a great Thanksgiving weekend in Iowa with family and made it back safely through another snow/ice storm. I can’t wait to get out on my bike this morning. After I shovel my driveway, of course.
