A sign for September

Not the most imaginative offering, but the month’s half over already.  I’m afraid if I don’t put something up now I’ll forget until it’s too late and break my perfect record.  The featured photo is just your normal roadside directional sign.  It’s perhaps a bit more interesting than most because it’s from Istria, where the signs are bilingual Italian/Croatian.  It’s from the latest stage on our journey along the Mediterranean, which you can follow here.

Also though, I’ve seen a couple of other signs of note this month.  There’s this trail directional sign, from a hike from Labin to Rabac we took earlier this week.  I wouldn’t dream of claiming it as a challenge entry of course, since it lacks a bicycle.  But I can still include it as extra baggage.

And here’s one more, from our ride from Trogir to Sibenik last week.  This one technically qualifies for the challenge, but the message isn’t one we’d condone so I decided not to feature it.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.
