A Tree for All Seasons

I don’t know what kind of tree it is, but it is kind of a landmark here. It’s been standing for many years and I hope it stays for a while longer. I think it’s beautiful and it’s certainly going to be a good subject to photograph in autumn and winter, too.

As for Day 4 of our ride along the Inn, that’s going to take a while. My PC has given up the ghost and my computer man can’t come until next week to rescue the photos I have stored on its hard drive.

By the way, the month is drawing to a close … Scott, are you there? Do you have a new theme up your sleeve?

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. I have three kids and eight grandchildren - so I'm pretty old. Cycling, photography and walking are my favorite things.

So impatient! Yes, I do have a theme in mind and was thinking I’d get to it later today. I guess I’d better get busy.

The tree is suggestive. With its sprawling shape it reminds me of the black walnuts I posted on CycleBlaze earlier today.

Something a little sad about a dead tree
