Before I make a post with a few more faces, I will tell you about this experience I had.

Yesterday was a warm one and the water in my camel back had warmed up quite a bit. So last night I tucked it into the garage fridge to start out with it quite cold and lasting that way longer on my ride today. Needless to say — I forgot it for my ride this morning, and did not realize that until 4 miles from home. There are no stores or restaurants anywhere so I started looking for friendly looking houses. Houses are also scarce along my route, but I spotted two people hovering over a 5th wheel RV in their driveway.

Long story short — I was saved by Marian who quickly found not one but four bottles of cold water for me. We had some nice conversation before I started on my way again. Now that I had water for intake, I soon needed some output! What to my wandering eye should appear in the nick of time…

ON WHEELS! The vineyard workers were apparently off from work today and fortunately the door was left unlocked. It was strange to feel movement under me as I stood and moved about the little that I could. There was also a hand washing station, but no water and since I carry my own sanitizer I did not try theirs.

This was such a “special” stop at such a needed moment that I just had to tell you about it. I thought Greg would especially like to know. ;’-).

A Garceau in the middle of nowhere, just when you need it ,,,,it’s a miracle.
We’ve had our coldest start to winter in 26 years but know all about heatwaves in summer.
    Stay cool.

Any post that includes a Garceau gets an “A” even if there weren’t any face pareidolias.

I knew it, I just knew I would get extra credit from you for this ;’-)

Sometimes you get the timing and resources just right. I hate those types of garceaus so much I probably would have just gone up the row a bit and peed there. I am so uncivilised!

I actually hate those as well Em, and try to avoid them when I can. It was my best option this time.
