August Challenge Liquid #4 — A Little Cycletherapy

Cycletherapy is always good for what ails me. Well, certain types of ails anyway. With my emotions atwhirl, a bike ride for errands was exactly what I wanted. After the couple of brief errands, I continued to ride around my neighborhood.

We have a Golf Club nearby and I thought I could get another Liquid entry for the month’s challenge. As I was taking the photo, a ball plopped into the water hazard (see the ripples?), and another one was lying in the sand trap. I looked up the hill to see a couple of golfers making their way to (apparently) an awaiting golf cart (no walking for them!). I missed getting them in the photo, but that was just as well.

Errant golf balls – another reason we should wear a helmet. 🙂
I agree, a nice bicycle ride is often times just the thing to make the world seem better.

I thought about the helmet on my head when I heard that plop not very far from where i was standing! My bike ride was indeed a welcome soothe for my hear.

Thanks Em, it was such a delight of a ride. Sometimes I really like riding with others, and many times I do enjoy my solo rides. This was a good day for my solo ;’-).

Solo rides are very enjoyable. Travel at your own speed with your own thoughts and no arguments or discussions about where to turn.

Group rides are OK too – and do provide that contrast!

I agree Tony. It mostly depends on the day and how I am feeling, but also if there is a group riding that I want to ride with ;’-). Tomorrow there is a group ride that I will opt not to do and I will take a little ride on my own. Just because ;’-).
