Bein’ Green

Yeah, the challenge of the month is blue, but July in my part of Australia is all about green. It is in that very short period of time in the year when the landscape is well-watered. So we got out and enjoyed all that green on Saturday with several new roads, a fair bit of climbing and some fun and fast gravel downhills. Might have to make next months theme green or brown in January. Doesn’t look like I’ll be in Victoria any time soon with the virus rampaging, hope things improve,

    Catch ya later

Nup, you’re not going anywhere for a long time with those WA hard borders! Hope the virus doesn’t escape there, too – sounds like it only takes 2 or 3 cases to set off a really bad chain reaction!

Beautiful ride and photos. It is good to see so much green in the otherwise brown landscape.

Thanks, Rich. Yeah, we don’t get green for very long nor to the depths of deciduous that you have, so gotta go enjoy it while it lasts!

Thanks, Nancy. The intent of the website is to take friends and family (particularly my parents) “with” me on rides. Glad you enjoyed this one, too. It WAS a nice ride.

Thanks, Suzanne. I still have significant fatigue issues and other problems, and I can’t do this day in and day out. But last year at this time, I could barely get out of bed and was severely anemic and no one knew why… so I am grateful for the amount of energy that I have regained 🙂
