Bicycle Days Challenge with Victoria – All of June

I have over-achieved! I chalked up 14 days in June that can count toward my 100-Bicycles-Challenge, that makes a total of 59 days for the year so far. For the first half of the year, I have more than 50 days! But the conditions were favorable. Considering we were on a multiple-day tour and had fantastic weather, this doesn’t necessarily mean that I will reach 100 for the year. June was very dry with 37% less rain than average. I didn’t even need my new rain jacket.

Here is the complete month of June.

My journal for our tour along the Romantic Road, Part 2 is finally complete.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

    Hi Suzanne,
Congratulations on your overachievement. At my best, I reach minimal achievement and then quit.

My compliments on your fine pictures as well.

Thanks, Greg! Set low goals and it’s easy to over-achieve.
      Glad you likes my pics.

I think you will easily exceed your goal of 100 — lots of time remaining.
Like Greg, I try to ride every ‘rideable’ day, but unlike Greg, some days I deem unridable 🙂
Poor start to the year here, very cold, icy, and windy — so Im well behind on days and mileage from a year ago
Representative photos of each ride are a great idea! Enjoy looking at them all.

That’s a wonderful collection of pictures! You are doing so well in your riding days, too. I had to laugh at June having 109mm of rain. We’ve only had 137mm in the first six months of the year so far!
