Challenge of the Month, December 2019: Reds

Let’s try for a simpler, less controversial challenge this month, shall we? This month’s theme is the color red, used in any way that seems appropriate to you: as an accent, as the dominant color, as a Santa Claus suit, as a planet, as a flower, as a flag, as a pannier. The opportunities are limitless. It needn’t be pure red either – anywhere deep into the red part of the spectrum is fine, but not drifting into orange or purple please.
Oh, and no gore either. We’d rather not see any fresh roadkill this month.
Like last month, the bike needn’t be in the qualifying photo as long as there’s evidence it was in the vicinity. The example, for example, was shot in a white village near the Spanish coast on our day ride from Berja. It didn’t seem right to prop my bike against that nice whitewashed house somehow, so I shot it from the saddle.

Great challenge! Red is my favorite color.
You can’t use your image here as a submission though. It has to be an original photo taken in December, of course.
??? I didn’t post an image yet.
Just a dumb comment on your photo icon for this site, and its red sleeves. I specialize in dumb comments, as you should know by now.
I still am wearing that red shirt, so I guess I’ll use it for December. Otherwise it might be my red panniers…
I have a red bike AND red panniers. Should fit nicely into this challenge ;’-). But — I will try to be much more adventuresome when there is no ice or heavy frost out there ;’-0
Those chillis almost don’t look real! Nice shot 🙂
