Challenge of the month, February 2020: Choose your own adventure!

This month’s challenge comes to you from Rachael, the website’s technical crew. She suggested the idea after getting tired of me bouncing ideas off of her, and then suggested that it would be too bad if something bad happened to our little website if we didn’t use her idea. So we’ll go with it.
And, by the way, let’s take a second to admire Rocky’s latest acquisition, a flashy new bike shirt that’s catching the eye of the guys biking past and making me angry:
OK. That’s long enough. On to this month’s challenge: come up with your own challenge theme for the month, declare it in your first post, and then post two other submissions on the same theme: a total of three posts (at least – more is even better) on a theme of your choosing. And, if you have trouble coming up with an idea, you’re free to use someone other’s theme. Mine will be rust. We’re in desert-dry southern Arizona for another two weeks, and I’m confident I can find some rusty junk here.
Don’t dawdle though. February is a short month. You’ll need to post once every nine days if you’re going to meet the challenge!

Iron oxide,,,a good challenge but I’ll wait and see what other themes I can tag onto…and yes Rachael does look very sharp in her new cycling shirt…Oh no the wife saw this post…wham…thud… ouch.
So now the onus is on us – no more excuses for next to no posts. Although I really liked the rock challenge, so easy. I just sat back and enjoyed all the excellent entries and didn’t have to work on creating any of my own since this isn’t rock country, at least not within riding distance for me.
I like the idea of picking up on others’ themes, too. So do three or more of your own theme and then see how many other people’s themes you can match as well.
Great idea, Suzanne. Bonus points for whomever can post for the most different themes.
Thank you, that clarifies the question I was going to ask.
I have a whole heap of responsibility, little guidance and little industry knowledge in my new job… and now I’ve gotta be responsible for myself in this month’s challenge, too?! Sheesh.
