Challenge of the month – July – Yu Cheung Tong (豫章堂)

Something old, something abandon, something waiting to be demolished

Date:   2018/07/08 (Sun)

Place:  Yu Cheung Tong, Ting Kok Road, Taipo, Hong Kong

Our sweet ladies and I were passing “Yu Cheung Tong” while on our way to Tai Mei Tuk from Sam Mun Tsai.

The 82 years old hakka house has been abandoned for many years and is now waiting for redevelopment by the new owner. Given its premier location, it is expected the piece of land will turn into prestige house or villa with magnificent sea view. 😎😎

Live in Hong Kong who love to ride.

Good one, Gary. That’s probably the only building in HK that isn’t new and glistening.

Bill, there should be some more hidden in remote areas. Probably I need to do more homework to locate them. 😀
