Challenge of the Month: New and Old

Took a short afternoon ride yesterday. Promptly for June 1,the weather turned into summer. While Janos was busy cooking for our guests later in the day and so as not to interfere, I explored a bit of our new surroundings on my own. Desperately searching New and Old.

New plants and old(er) ones – as I said, desperately searching

New trees and old trees
Use your imagination, there are lots of new and old juxtapositions here: bike and car; new windows in old house; bin for dog poo and barn for cows and their poo. Desperate
I was surprised to find this new Greek Orthodox convent. In the background is an old Bavarian catholic church tower.

Hoping to get internet tomorrow. Also found how to upload photos faster from my phone…

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. I have three kids and eight grandchildren - so I'm pretty old. Cycling, photography and walking are my favorite things.

Thanks, Rich! I think I will be saying the same thing in every single post – can’t believe this is all so very close.
