Challenge of the month, October 2019: Flagging interest

With the coldest and wettest (or hottest and driest, depending) part of the year on the horizon, is your cycling interest flagging?  If so, we’ve got just the challenge to revive it: Flags!  National, regional, ecumenical, corporate; straight out in a gale force wind, lightly luffing in a breeze, completely limp; up a pole, on a ship mast, draped across a coffin, on a jacket, on a bike – they’re all game, and diversity is encouraged.

The featured photo from our entrance to Baiona on the Galician coast, which you’ll note also qualifies this post for the September challenge, shows the concept.

also, before we leave September’s Challenge, the sponsors wish to thank all the participants for their creative submissions, with special recognition given to Suzanne’s bike with a line of Bactrian camels, and Lednar’s bike with skeleton aboriginal warriors.  Well done!

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

It wasn’t easy to get the warriors to pose too long. Don’t know if I can get a coffin, flag, bike combination photo but we’ll see.
