Christmas Eve Eve

We got out for a cold, windy ride today, out to Kelly Point and then east along the Columbia.  It was wonderfully bright and clear out, with the snow low on the foothills and the mountains dazzling in the distance.  The farther we got, the stronger and colder the east wind blew.  Just before the Sea Scout station we took the hint and turned back for home.  Just enough to get a good workout and earn the right to a beverage of choice by the fireplace.

Distance for the day: 39 miles.  Elevation: negligible.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.
