CLC 2019, #2: Burnside and Old Town

Portland looks like it’s really landed in the sweet spot on the weather map this winter.  Today was still cold, but once again beautiful.  With a midday film on the day’s schedule I don’t have much time to spare for a ride, but it doesn’t take much to crank out a flat four miles and scarf down a croissant and coffee.

I know we’ve seen the Burnside Bridge and Old Town before, but maybe they’re worth another look.  If not, you can at least look with envy at where I dropped my bucks for Challenge Ride No. 2.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

Yes, that was a measly selection int the bakery case! But, you did showcase some beautiful architecture from a time when we cared about details. Plus, I loved the shadow ice photo!

I agree with Em — that Shadow ice photo is a bit amazing!! For such a short ride, you had a good one and shared quite a nice part of it with us.

This was a bit of luck in the timing, alright. I can’t imagine those lines will stand up to another minute in the sun.
