CLC Spring 2020/4: Surprise, Surprise

What a nice ride again – spring weather and a fine route planned by Janos. There’s not much of a story to tell. We are just starting to piece together sections of different routes we have done here so far. This loop is a real favorite. We will be doing it often.

There are big piles of logs in the woods. The trees felled by the storms at the end of February and early March are now neatly stacked.

Thinking about how I was to make this a ride for the challenge, I considered putting apples in my bag, something to show I support the local economy. But I knew we wouldn’t eat them, they would just go along for the ride and be brought home again. Cheating, right? Then I found some chocolate in the drawer.

Surprise, surprise! Janos didn’t expect chocolate!
Part of the ride was through the woods, but these days I love the open fields in the sun.

And here’s the loop on the MAP.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

You are on a roll now Suzanne! #4 done?! And supplying Janos with surprise chocolate gives bonus points!

Choclateuring! What a fine refinement. This is sure to start a new craze.

What a sweet surprise! A bike ride AND chocolate! The best of both worlds. Good for you. It sure was a beautiful day too! Love that black & white affect on the stacked logs photo with your bike. You are such a lovely photographer! Cheers & happy pedaling.

Usually Janos seems so stoic in your posts. Clearly his stoicism is no match for the joy of chocolate.
