CLC2018, Ride 1: Farmers’ Market

For my first CLC ride this year, I set out on a cool, overcast morning and followed my usual route across town. Instead of continuing on the Greenway, I pedaled through downtown, then headed up Old Redwood Highway toward the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. I knew I would find in the parking lot there on this Saturday morning a fine farmers’ market. That would allow me to conduct my CLC transaction.

Just checked out your post on your blog. Gorgeous photos, Bill. I love the bike getting the new paint job 🙂 The hospital photo is no good, but being able to hold a small child and a cup of coffee at the same time seems positive. Hope you get some answers soon. The fire photos remind me a lot of the photos from the 2009 fires here. We haven’t had anything quite so terrible since then, so we are probably all getting lulled into complacency once again here. Sending you healing wishes – though I’m not sure if they count from me at the moment – Em
Great pics, Bill!
I know what you mean about seeing too much of the inside of buildings like Kaisers! They might look different on the outside, but inside they are all the same more or less. Undesirable. Wishing you a good recovery!
The new paint job looked very nice and the two kids are lovely too.
