Coffeeneuring #7…What’s Your Problem B$#!h!

Nice talk for a family recreation trail!! I’m in my lane…young woman walks in front of me I ring my bell. Just so she’s aware this is a bike lane. She doesn’t acknowledge me and turns and crosses back in front of me again! I ring my bell twice this time. Now, she looks up and I get the above comment. I may or may not have expressed my issue with a hand gesture😳

After that I decide I’m just ringing my bell and enjoying my ride. I head up through Pacific Grove to check on the monarchs. This is one of the Central Coast Over Wintering Locations for migratory Monarch Butterflies.

Here’s more info.
I search the trees for clusters but don’t see any. Seems like a very light year. However, on another note I saw my first pod of gray whales heading south yesterday on my walk.
I need a kid to put in the photo. There was a sweet baby there just minutes ago.
Just around the corner I find these guys. Public art score! Photo bomber Kermit!
I find a Neighborhood Garden I didn’t know about.
Heading back to Monterey I pass the PG Public Golf Course and the Point Pinos Lighthouse….nice day for golf.
Just across the street from the lighthouse are the bird counters. The numbers are rising.
Soon I’m back in Seaside and need to get my Coffeeneuring taken care of as this is the last day! This new drive through and walk up only is just a block from home.
So I ride right up!! Get my Decaf Americano and head for home.
Made it home with no spills!
What another map?! 😂😂

Janet here of Jack and Janet in Seaside, CA. We just love to ride our bikes and share and read stories from other such afflicted souls.

Looks like a fantastic ride, in spite of the rude woman. Congrats for completing your seven rides.

Congratulations on completing the 7 rides!
Nice ride and beautiful photos as always.
I admire your restraint with the ‘lady’ — almost makes a person want to unleash a diatribe that would make Sam Kinison proud. Almost. 🙂

Sorry on behalf of humanity for that poor example you encountered! Glad you had nice sunshine for your ride. The bird count is getting up there! Verne and Kermit are insisting we come see all these cool places in person – they love the latest pic!

What a rude person. They are everywhere it seems but luckily we don’t meet them every day. I can’t decide – ring the bell, cough, say “Passing (R or L)”, sound the horn – whatever you do it upsets someone.

Putting that behind us (as we should) thanks for the photographs and congrats on completing the Challenge. Now get on Mary’s website and order your Patch.

I use all of the above, on your left….been told to just watch out myself. Ring my bell…you see what that does. People just don’t have common sense or any respect for others today. It is getting worse and I see a time in the future when I might not be able to ride the trail….only problem with that it is pretty much the only way to get across town as there is a military post in the middle the DLI (Defense Language Institute) that was an open post but now is gated. I guess if I worked at it I could find a way!! it’s sad people have become so disrespectful as I’m only announcing my presence and warning them to pay attention. There are some race riders that go through there at 15mph there is going to be an incident soon.

I too am sorry for the rudeness you encountered. I have encountered similar rudeness but not very often. I try to remember that there are people who suffer with mental health issues and that day may have been a bad one for them. I know that is not always the case, but it keeps me calmer and acknowledges if it is true. And sometimes it is.
Love your warm looking sunshine and all your photos. I would love to see the Monarchs one day.

I do try to put it aside but some days are harder than others. Why can’t we all just get along😂🤣

I agree — some days it is much harder to put it aside and I carry it with me for much of that day. A wonderful thought if we could all get along ;’-). I don’t know why we cannot, but seems that way,
