We’re off…..today is beautiful! Summer has finally arrived on the Central Coast! Fog ….GONE! For today anyway.

We haven’t ridden our “Normal” ride since I last posted here….it’s been awhile. So we headed out to see what we could find and see if we could do 30 miles😂😂

Jack thinking of a new career as a Tour Guide.

We found this parked in one of the city lots. Doesn’t it look like an old Yellowstone Tour Bus…just not red. edit: yep it’s a Yellowstone Bus and I was wrong about the Red. We wonder what the story is.

It is close to Halloween and this IS our frog that loves to dress up!

Time to head up the hills towards Pebble Beach and find our friend the frog…he has new friends this year.

Red Skeleton….and a beautiful new horse.
Soon ….well soonish we are at PB and the new Visitors Center. Looked like a gathering spot for local cyclists! We saw a few we we knew.

We stopped at our usual reflection spot and got photo bombed.

Can you find him?
No coffee today just something cold! Still counts! And in PB it was $3.50
So…I’m just realizing that the bike isn’t reflectived but I am …..look close.
Nice shadows at lunch though.

Time to head home….but first a pit stop,

    The one time I was in your area, there was a lot of fog. Not so bad for people who live there, because they’ve seen the beauty of the area when it’s not foggy and know what’s there. As a tourist, I remember getting frustrated, especially after paying to drive some 7-mile famous place and not seeing much at all. It must be wonderful to live so close to the sea! I’ve always loved biking down the eastern coast of Florida. I love your reflection.

      I always feel bad for the folks that are only here when it’s foggy…..this is what they miss!

    Nice ride and photos — I wonder how many remember Red Skelton?
    That may be a Yellowstone bus, they were yellow, the ones in Glacier NP are red.

    You sure look good in that reflectie.

    I was about to say, hey! they *were* red! but Rich is right, they’re red in Glacier. I’ve never even been to Yellowstone. As I say, often wrong but seldom in doubt.

    You guys have one of the best regular rides.

    Reflectie in the mirror is great — so clear! And part of your bike shows in the second reflectie. I call it success at that. Beautiful rides on a clear day!

    Rich – you’ve got my interest. Red Skelton – I remember the name from way back. I don’t think he was ever on the BBC TV or radio or ITV though. I think he appeared in UK paper comics (Film Fun?) drawn with a number of other UK and US comics (the people sort). I recall we kids didn’t know many of these American comics so it all didn’t mean much to us. Did he also have a US TV show on which UK bands appeared?
