It was a damp and cold day for riding, but six of us faced the weather for a delightful day riding on the Centennial Trail. Hot chocolate at the Java Haus could not have been better earned. Bonus — a covered bridge in Lake Stevens. ;’-).
Cindy was the most decorated with flowers and lights on her bike.
There were some red bushes nearby us.
Raquel had her red and white bike.
And we had our lunch stop at the end of our cold ride (cold toes and fingers for some) at the red Java Haus.
Not red (well, there is my pannier), but we crossed under a covered bridge that most had not seen before. And it is right here near the trail. The things you miss when you do not get off the bike trail!
This was a great group that often ends up riding together on club rides (it is a slower ‘social’ pace that we like), and we were pleased to get in a ride before days of rain begin.
