CRANKSGIVING IN DECEMBER AND A WALL

My Ace #1 eye spy found this Free Food Pantry for a chance to do a CRANKSGIVING ride ‘;’-).

I had never seen one of these free library-like ideas used for food giving. What a great idea, and a good ride with two friends on this cool but no-rain day. We each brought along a few non-perishable food items to place into the pantry.

Cindy has found a little mouse that she takes with her on bike adventures, takes a photo, and emails it to here granddaughter. What a fun idea ;’-)

On our return route to Cindy’s house we rode through the park for a snack and restroom break. And I found this somewhat interesting wall.

Another good winter day of riding with friends.

That is a great idea! Im contemplating doing a CranX-mas donation at the Township Building.
    Good on you and friends!
That is a neat wall, and again set off by your red bicycle.
If anyone asks Cindy what she meant when she said ‘we’ — and they continue, “who is we? Do you have a mouse in your pocket?”
She can answer: Why, yes, actually I do!

It was a great idea for a ride, and we really liked doing this. The Pantry is there and open year round so no doubt we will do it again sometime. I like your “Cranx-mas” idea. Very clever.
Thanks for your comment about the Wall. I am never sure how the walls I find will be received here, but it is what I find so will post when I can find potentials.
Funny comment comeback for Cindy if she is ever asked that!!! ;’-)
Thanks for reading and commenting Rich.

Free food pantry, that is a great idea, how much of that stuff gets ditched is criminal.

Free food pantry, great idea! So nice to have such like-minded buddies to ride with, too.

That was new to me as well. I wish there were more free pantries around, but I don’t know of any. May have to research that. I am so very fortunate to have a few riding buddies that will ride in lots of different (safe) weather conditions.

I like the idea of the free food pantry and the fact that people have donated things people actually like to eat! Verne and Kermit would love to meet the mouse mascot!

Cindy found the little mouse in a mud puddle, took him home and cleaned him up to become a bit of a mascot. I dubbed him Muddy Waters. I don’t know that she will call him that, but I will. I know he wold love meeting your guys ;’-). I will introduce you to Sage on a post. I found her on a trail by some sage brush.
I googled Little Free Pantry and found it is a grassroots plan and has many who volunteer to set up a cabinet for food. They are located in different countries including New Zealand, but I didn’t browse the site very much to see all the places they are set up for donations. It is a great Idea.
