    I dont think anyone in a state of inebriation would want to come across the serpent at night! 😉
    Those are truly amazing sculptures, the tortoise is super cool.

      Kind of like “party bridge” in your neck of the woods, I suspect local high school students congregate in the desert at these sculptures in the night. “Hey, meet at the serpent at midnight….”

    I love Borrego Springs and the desert here. These sculptures are just the icing on the cake. We really need to go back there again some year.

      Thanks, Tony. It’s an amazing collection of outdoor sculptures in both quality and quantity. And, like you say, the desert setting really enhances the pieces. I can’t be absolutely certain of the chronological order, but it seems like the sculptor was creating bigger, better, and more dramatic pieces as the years went by.
