Cycle Days #19 of 75 – Season’s Change

What a difference a week makes, last week I rode / coasted down the Gorge De La Nesque, temps in the mid 20s C.

Today’s ride took place in damp cool conditions temps barely into double digits C.

Last week bib shorts and short sleeve jersey, this week long sleeve tops, lightweight gloves and knee warmers.

Cothill School sports field, goalposts instead of cricket square.

The two autumn storms we’ve had in the last few days have brought the leaves down.

Fields of sweet corn have been harvested since I was last this way.

A sign of the times.

Rain drifts across the former RAF Abingdon airfield with the disused cooling towers of the redundant Didcot Power Station in the background.

Pleasant ride despite the weather.

Distance – 23 miles

Journey – Solo

Bike – Spa Audax
