Finding Bridges in Monterey….not so easy!

Lovely flowers in the background.

There just aren’t many unless you ride south to Big Sur then you have several options. With current road construction and my lack of riding I don’t see that happening anytime soon. So, today I present to you the bridge on Pearl street in Monterey. It takes you across Lake El Estero which is a park in downtown Monterey with paddle boats, Dennis The Menace playground (which has cool bridges but Little Bessie isn’t allowed), a couple of baseball fields and the city cemetery.

Janet here of Jack and Janet in Seaside, CA. We just love to ride our bikes and share and read stories from other such afflicted souls.

    Hi Janet,

    “…any bridge, large or small….”

Looks like a bridge to me!

PS: Remember, a bridge doesn’t need to cross water in order to be a bridge.

No bridges? Who would have thought that – I would have assumed there would have been multiple creeks feeding into the bay. You are on the board, though – it will be fun to see what else you can find 🙂
