FINISHING ROUND II

I have posted #1 Outdoor Art, and #2 Cell Phone Tower. I start this post with Greg’s somewhat personal challenge to me to add to the Public Art. I did not have much time to search for an item to add, so let it suffice that I added these…

Now to go forward…

II #3 MOTOR HOME (It was way too easy to get a photo of a new one as there were tons of them in the RV park. So — I waited and found this one along my bike route.)

II #4 STRIPES

II #5 FEATHERS (The woman assured me that she was taking them to the visitor center, and not keeping them herself.)

II #6 LOCK

II #7 BIKE SHOP DECAL (The shop where it is made and sells stuff as well)

II #8 CLASSIC CAR (I have no idea)

II #9 SCHOOL BUS

II #10 TIRE SWING

II #11 SOMETHING RUSTY

II #12 FLOATING OBJECT

II #13 CHAIN

II #14 ODD SHAPED TREE

II #15 ANOTHER CYCLIST (S)

II #16 PERGOLA (but I had taken this a couple of days before Round 2 started. I ride by here often and think this is the best for pergola. Is it allowed?)

II #17 BROKEN WINDOW

II #18 BIRD NEST (It worked for Suzanne ;’-), and this one even has “nest’ on it)

II #19 WHEEL BARROW

II #20 TENNIS COURT

Now we will see what the judges have to say. Do these pass the parameters or do I need to keep looking — as I am for that dastardly lawnmower!

    Excellent Work!
Pergola is just fine, although, I dont know why anyone would want one, what with birds doing what birds do — doo.
Im guessing a 52 Ford is the ‘classic car’.

Well, if you cant find a reel lawnmower, you could always go with a Fisher-Price corn popper. 😉

Oh good, I have passed Round 2 ;’-). I just knew you could identify the car. This is a great challenge and very good lists. I know there are a couple on Round 3 that may stump me but I shall carry on. Just like for the lawnmower — riding past ACE Hardware (and finding the wheel barrows) did not reveal any on display. I may need to eventually go inside and ask (gasp),

Beautiful pergola shot! I don’t know about those feathers though – it looks like you’re making off with most of the whole bird.

I know. I did not find those feathers but when a woman was walking past me with them I asked to take the photo. That is when I asked if she was intending to keep them, knowing that is illegal. She assured me that she would not.

Excellent addition to the artwork, Nancy. It looks like it might have been a little chilly that day.

And that pergola is huge. Good work.

It was our only day of clouds with threatening rain of out four day trip. A slight chill in the air that had us all donning a jacket. Glad you like that photo (and it meets your challenge), and the pergola.

Interesting and creative finds, Nancy! I like what you added to the outdoor art.
