Four more items for round 1

In my first post for the scavenger hunt challenge, I posted 14 finds. Today I found four more but I doubt I’ll be able to find the missing last two: a porch swing and a reel lawnmower. That’s 18 finds for round 1, but I haven’t given up.

Today I scavenged in a light rain, but it wasn’t cold or windy and I had a good time.

An interesting road find: I’ve ridden past often but never stopped for a picture.
A smoke stack: This was a schnaps distillery, now it looks like it is being torn down. See the bird house on the smoke stack, I guess the smoke stack hasn’t been used in a while. Actually, I can’t figure out whether it’s a smoke stack or a chimney. If it doesn’t qualify, tell me and I’ll find a real smoke stack.
A discarded tire – I thought that would be easy but no, I had to really search. Today I told myself, you can’t go home before you find a tire. I got lucky.
Out of state license plate – Our license plates are issued by towns or cities and it would have been pretty easy to find a license plate that wasn’t from Munich, indicated by an M on the license plate . I decided to find a plate from outside of Bavaria. S is Stuttgart in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

    More great finds
Smoke stack or chimney? Is there a difference? Smokestacks larger and higher?
Looks like a smokestack to me.
Like Greg and Wisconsin, we are so close to Indiana, a plate from there doesn’t really count.
Reel lawnmowers are common at golf courses, no idea about porch swings in Germany.
18 or 20 is a very good number!

I think that is a smokestack, and it seems you have a bird’s nest for round 2. I would count it anyway. I have not yet be out to start Round 2 yet, have 17 for Round 1 and think I can get at least one more for that list. Fun hunting I think.
