Gettysburg, part 2

I’m driving solo across the continent, with the Ogre in the back of the Forester. Some days I hop on the Ogre to ride a few miles out-and-back or in a loop. That slows my forward progress, but enables me to explore some interesting places along the way.

Sixth stop, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Part two.

Thank you for a very excellent tour of Gettysburg — in fact you did pique my interest and led to more research about the battles there — the entire Civil War in fact.
And yes, you did present the human aspect of that conflict very well.
As I was reading and looking at the photos, I wondered about the monuments that are no longer perceived as acceptable in their present locations. You have provided an excellent solution to that issue.
