HAPPY THANKSGIVING
On any of my rides in November, I have stopped for any photo that represents Thanksgiving —- for the Holidays Challenge. I was going to put this as a blog post in my blog, but as it a challenge here, I wanted to get it in here first. I may try to figure out how to copy it to my blog later ;’-0
I rode on On the Day of the Holiday and got this photo.
This is a popular turkey as I have seen and taken a photo of two others:
The first one appears a bit tipsy; the second is more upright ;’-)
Other turkeys along some of my routes:
This next one is in a window display of a costume shop. I think it can be considered representative of Thanksgiving.
The next two photos are possibly my favorites and the express how I feel, not only at Thanksgiving, but all year long. I suppose it is on Thanksgiving that we are consciously aware of all the things we have to be thankful for.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE.

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you!
There is a similar inflatable turkey over on Washington street, and ‘this’ turkey rode right by and forgot to take a picture. 🙁
Hey Rich — go get that photo today ;’-). A little late doesn’t mean much ;’-)
You know? I did go up that way early this morning, and they already had taken it down!!
Maybe I will substitute Black Friday at Casey’s. 🙂
That will work Rich. Creative once again!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Nancy! And a big thank you for your fun and enthusiastic contributions to Cycle365!
How sweet Suzanne ;’-). I enjoy everyone here and LOVE sharing things about my rides. This site is so filled with great people who are so welcoming.
I’m new to ‘Thanksgiving’ in which being thankful and eating turkeys with the family seems to be the thing to do. Have a nice one
Kind of a strange ‘holiday’ in a way. But at least there is no obligation to exchange gifts!! Personally I am not fond of turkey, but once a year is ok ;’-)
Happy THanksgiving! That is definitely a lot of creativity of turkey items. I do like the tipsy turkey – sorta what everyone looks like after they stuff themselves.
Yes, Thanksgiving overeating seem to be the norm! I held it back on T-Day and field much more like the upright turkey ;’-)
I love the ‘drunk turkey’!! Thanks 😊 yes so much to be thankful for. Most especially the ability to ride my bike!!!
Ahh yes — continuing to be able to ride my bike is a BIG thankful as well Janet.
