Hmmmmmm :(

In the words of Chester A. Riley:  “What a revoltin’ development this is!”

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

Nice photo, Rich, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what all that white stuff is.

Well, there ‘might’ have been a few pejoratives that came to mind for it. 🙂

No, no snow/ice riding now (although I have) — riding across a icy area one time, I had the thought, I really shouldnt be here!
Ill leave the snow/ice riding to our correspondent in Minnesota!

Man, I sure am glad I don’t live in Illinois. Your weather sucks.

Ugh! Pretty is as pretty does and all, but no riding is for the birds.

True — just back from a very short excursion around a few blocks anyway, roads mostly cleared up today.

I hope that’s melted by now! I miss snow – but I don’t think I could handle temps below 20F very well anymore. (I do have snow in winter only an hour away from where I live though – if I want to pay huge gate pass fees to get into the resorts – I just choose not to go up, I guess.)

Wow! It looks forbidding, but I can’t believe you weren’t tempted to go out for at least a short spin. Check with Greg for pointers – he’s got some great snowbiking tales to tell.
