Is there a place…

I don’t know where else to write this, so I got here.

Is the forum still open for discussion and questions? For one, I would like to know if this site asks for donations?

Yes. It doesn’t get much traffic, but the forum is open and available.

Scott owns the site, so I’ll leave it to him to answer financial questions when he gets a chance.

Donations would be great! We could stay at a nicer B&B or enjoy a splurge dinner once in a while!

Seriously though, the site costs almost nothing to run, and Rachael and I spend a shamefully small amount of time managing it. We set the it up before we decided to sell our home and live on our bikes, at a time when we had more free time. If I took donations, I’d feel guilty about not doing more to support it. I’m just happy that it’s getting used as much as it is. Thanks for participating!

Yes, please let us know if donations are needed. It’s really great to have a fun place to hang out – I was going to miss everyone if you hadn’t given us a place to gather. Thanks so much!

ThNks for the offer Em, but it’s definitely not needed at this time. I might reconsider this winter though, because I think we may be coming up on a space limitation for this hosting option. We’ll research it further when we’re back in Portland this winter.

I doubt that I’ll ever ask for donations though. As Rachael constantly reminds me, we could save so much by forgoing a second glass of wine from time to time!
