July Challenge — 3

Stop sign at 1550E/4000N (where 1550 stops for 4000)

What one person referred to as a ‘Stoptional’ sign — stop if you feel like it

On one ride, a lady in a red Buick was coming north on 1550E, in an obvious rush.  A Ford Explorer was coming east on 4000N.  Buick lady decides to use the Stoptional Option.  They were on a perfect storm collision course.

This may turn out badly I’m thinking!

Explorer slows to turn south on 1550E

Had that not happened . . . . .

I see the red Buick lady drive by occasionally and think to myself — lady, you don’t realize how damned lucky you are to be doing what you are doing right now!

As you can see, the sign is also riddled with bullet holes

Rotating things around, we find some faces  🙂

They are baaaack!

Lots of little faces in the pebbles

Forgot to include bicycle  . . . again  🙁

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

Now that you mentioned it, I found several more.
      Sharp eyes!

With some searching, I did find faces in the pebbles. Good finds on the STOP sign.

Well done – I wouldn’t have thought to look for faces in bullet holes. The house looks a bit stern with the window eyes being longer horizontally than vertically.

More “A” work from one of my prized students.
