JUNE ALMOST BUT NOT QUITE

I mapped out this ride from Sarah’s to specifically find what I could for the June Scavenger hunt.

IV #17 STACK OF BRICKS (dubious at best ;’-))

IV #18 HOUSE WITH A TURRET

IV #19 WATER TOWER

Found the water tower in Old Town Elk Grove CA.

I now concede to those who were successful in finding all 80 items on the list. Lacking #80, a barn quilt, I will not struggle about it but feel less successful than you all. But more successful than I anticipated I would be given my circumstances of less riding ;’-). I will post a barn quilt whenever it is that I ride by one in sight ;’-).

I will now begin concentrating on faces! Good thing for me that I was not supposed to be finding them today. There may well have been some out there in my path, but biking on busy roads in a relatively unfamiliar town looking for specific stuff, I did not even think about finding faces.

    Good finds again!
The Washington state barn quilt map show only 2 counties, Okanogan and Kittitkas, so you get a Bye on that one.
Stack of bricks, IS a stack of bricks, being loose or mortared was never mentioned.
So you are all good, and Helen nods in agreement. 🙂

Thank you Helen!! And Rich of course ;’-). I do fairly hate not finishing a challenge. It feels good to know I am on the finishers list. Just in time too.

Well done! Especially under the circumstances. Don’t forget, my barn quilt was a photoshop forgery. Some other items weren’t 100% legit, either.

I was happy to find so many of the list while out and adventuring away from my usual routes!

‘You did well’ says me who got only about 10 items
    .
Mind you ‘stack of bricks’ I think means bricks that have been stacked. Rich is being very nice.

Well, I guess Rich’s list, so Rich’s rules. I will go with his ruling ;’-).
