June Challenge: A Scavenger Hunt

This month’s challenge is to find and photograph as many of the items on the list(s) as you can.

Include your bicycle where it is practical and possible

As stated previously, ALL 365’ers are of impeccable integrity, so there is no question that you were on your ride when the items were found.

(Well, there is that one guy)  😉

Beginning with 20 items, several of which were submitted by 365’ers, and a few of my own, a new list will be posted every week or so.

All lists remain active thru-out the challenge

Thanks for the suggestions from Nancy, Bill, Greg and Suzanne!!!

Challenge Round One

Smoke Stack     Porch Swing     A Fork In The Road    A Name On A Boulder

Reel Lawnmower     An Interesting Road Find     Ladder    Railroad Crossing

Silo     Fire Hydrant With Art Work     Propane Tank     Umbrella   Trampoline

Dots or Spots     Travel Trailer     Out Of State License Plate     Red Roof

Discarded Tire     Large Machine     Steeple

Post them as you find them

Good Luck!   Ride Safe!   Have Fun!

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

Nicely done, Rich! Right on time for the beginning of June. I had to look up what a “reel lawnmower” is. Well, it’s what I knew as lawnmower when I was a kid and mowing the lawn. I guess they aren’t very common any more. I wonder if I’ll be able to find one.

Thanks! My hope is it will be found interesting and motivating to “ride and seek.”
Yes, the old school reel push mowers are pretty rare these days, although they are still made and sold.
I saw one here and was very surprised — so that will be a challenge!
