Kaffeenierung in Bavaria – Ride 5

Autumn Glow in Westpark —
Took a ride to Westpark to see what autumn is doing there.
*The rose garden wasn’t what it was but the blossoms weren’t completely finished yet. Some other autumn bloomers were still showing their colors, too.
*There were no more turtles sunning on the stones in the lake.
*It didn’t smell like autumn, it smelled like grilled sausage. There were still a good number of Turkish families out for a Saturday barbeque and picnic, almost as many as in the summer months.
*The beer garden was closed.
*Lots of families out, children on their trikes and scooters and little bikes or seated in a cargo bike.
Altogether a friendly scene, nothing sensational to take pictures of, but certainly warm enough still to stroll leisurely with camera in hand and enjoy a Saturday afternoon in the park.
I didn’t feel like having anything to eat or drink, but I did have to do some grocery shopping on my way home, thus supporting the local economy and hopefully satisfying the challenge’s requirements.

Stunning! We don’t get fall color much here. Being a mid-westerner I miss it. Thank you!
We’re lucky! I’d like it even more if it didn’t mean that winter is around the corner.
Beautiful day, beautiful park, beautiful photos!
I think your camera and skills are just a ‘bit’ up the ladder from my CoolPix and me! 🙂
Winter is not a happy thought.
I agree with all that they said! Including the winter not a happy thought thought ;’-0. And my cool pix will never compare ;’-). But it is still fun to look for photo ops on my rides, then come here and really enjoy yours.
Thanks, Nancy!
To get a few keepers, I do take about a zillion pictures.
You’re off on another ride and I haven’t managed to get my last one posted. Looks like you’re having the perfect kind of weather for being outside. Reminds me of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” “Ahhh, this day is just right.”
The weather this year is incredible – I could actually have 7 rides in 7 days. But I do have a life aside from cycling. 😊
Great, atmospheric pictures make me want to ride there. BUT things are shutting ready for winter – so I don’t think I will.
