Melbourne and my weekly challenge

We have just begun a 2 month caravan trip on mainland Australia. The first stop was Melbourne and the main tasks there were to get a mountain drive fitted to the Brompton (didn’t trust Tasmanian dealer mechanics) and to ride the Capital City Trail to get some ks in.
One way or another I managed 81 ks on the first week of the trip. A little below the 100 of the challenge but good in the circumstances. The story can be found HERE.
The purpose of the Post in the above picture is described in my post after the one linked to above (if you follow my Tasmanian logic)

Have a great tour of the mainland — sounds like a really enjoyable experience.
Hope the issues with the Brompton are easily solved.
Have a good trip, Tony. It sounds like you’re having fun already. It’s a very enjoyable journal so far!
Have a squeak-free trip!
That sounded like a pretty chaotic start! It sounds like you handled it really well, though. I’ve never been sure how to drive or ride with the trams – and hook turns are a very unique experience. See you soon!
