Today i rode 10 miles on mt first ride in the rain this year! Almost did not go, but once out there I found the rain light (though consistent) and not bad. In fact I rather enjoyed the ride and kept making just a bit longer than I had thought it would be ;’-).

Came upon these unexpected mixture of rocks.

And one that serves a similar use that Rich has posted. A ‘title holder’ is what I think of these as.

“BellaTerra” sounds even more fancy than “Prairie Meadows II.”

“Good Earth” is kind of what I interpret it as — that seems similar to Prairie Meadows ;’-/

Both Prairie Meadows’ are income adjusted housing projects — actually pretty nice homes.

I guess title holder rock communities are the urban equivalent of the ‘fancy gate’ properties in rural areas 🙂

They seem to be everywhere. No place to hide I guess. ;’-0.

Good on you for getting out in the rain! But a ride in the rain can be quite nice, as long as it doesn’t pour and you are dressed right. And it’s not too cold. Wet and cold I find are a bad combination.

I agree Suzanne. I ended up liking the rain ride yesterday —- wondering if I will feel the same this morning as I ride to meet up for breakfast nearby. I have this goal of riding every day of January, which may end up being a folly as rain and other weather conditions are all part of this month around here.
