Monochrome #3 Speaking of Green…

Other than nature, I haven’t come across many monochromatic green things. And as Suzanne has said, where there is rain there is green.

As beautiful as nature dressed in green is, I was glad to come across this to mix it up.

I will continue to keep my eyes out for more green things, but this may be it ;’-0.

Don’t feel like you need to stop there, Nancy. When you’re done with green, there’s puce, burnt umber, lilac, peach, chartreuse, even basic black. Plenty of choices that no one else has gotten to yet.

I already have a list of places in my head to bike to for more monochrome ;’-). Don’t worry — I have no thoughts of quitting and will be posting lots more as I find those one colors ;’-). Thanks for the encouragement.

That is one really great planting in the middle photo — any idea what they are?
The lighter colored starfish like one is especially nice.

I have no idea what that plant is. I am of no use for identifying plants. A know-nothing ;’-(

Great photos – I sometimes miss large expanses of green lawn. Even the golf courses struggle here to do green in such a vibrant, no-effort way like the Pacific NW 🙂

I can imagine you would miss green if you little to none in your environment. I love the lushness of our PNW. And I’d does not rain ALL the time ;’-). In fact, we could use some more right now, but I am enjoying my bike riding in no rain — though cloudy for these few days.

So nice that you have the red in your photos, on the color wheel it’s the complementary color to green and creates a very pleasing contrast.

Red (if you have not guessed) is possibly my favorite color. Along with blue. The green is vibrant right now and I am glad to know how well my red bike adds to some of the photos.
