Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

Looks like Casey’s really does sell everything. I think businesses should pay some kind of fund for clean up of their disposable containers. I see those things all over around here too.

Gosh, you’ve been eating and discarding a lot of fast food, Rich 😉

I used to love the Chili 5-way at Steak n Shake when I was young – but never did, and still don’t like, Oreos. So no twist or dunk vote for me.

They test the wastewater daily here for COVID, looking for any incursion of the virus. They have a pretty big surveillance network set up. Before the latest outbreak, I think they were testing every 3 days. If anything shows up, they’ll burst our “border bubble” that allows people within local government areas along the river to travel back and forth between VIC and NSW (since Albury-Wodonga is really just one big city with people on either side of the river).

I’d never throw out Oreos. Along with Fig Newtons, they’re my favorite cookie. I’d take them over any home-made cookie. I know, I’m weird.

Those walnuts can be a real hazard. I’ve dodged huge piles of them, and sometimes I’ve run over some. Luckily they’ve never caused me to crash.
