More from Bavaria for round II

Lots of floating stuff on the pond
A feathered friend
Can we call it a pergola?
It’s cute but but not exactly a nest, is it. I won’t count this one. Maybe I can find a real nest.

I still have to find a tire swing (I know where but not an interesting ride to get there), a bicycle shop decal, a school bus (not so common here) and a real birds next. And just in case I don’t find a birds next made of twigs and such, I found this information in the Internet: “Birdhouses serve as nest hubs mainly because they are specially meant to provide a secured and safe place for varieties of bird species to build their nest and nurture their young.”

Looks like a pergola to me. 🙂
Just curious about the lack of school buses — kids go to lots of different decentralized schools?

I will defer to Mr. Greg on the bird nest/house since that was one of his suggestions for the hunt. (Hopefully, Helen will not become involved 😉 )

Public bus lines are commonly used for kids to get to school, many can walk or ride their bikes. That’s in our area, anyway. Maybe where there is no public transortation available, there are school buses. I don’t really know.

Well, then, we will consider a public bus a school bus since it actually is. (sort of) 🙂

I absolutely accept the Bird House because nests made of twigs and grass are hidden by leaves this time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The clincher was your indisputable information from the Internet. Well done, Suzanne.
