Mr Blue Sky

Here’s an amazingly blue photo I took this morning on my club ride to Woodmans Point, so blue in fact that I think I might have ‘trumped’# Gregblood in photo blueness. Also I made another startling discovery, the world’s happiest song is Mr Blue Sky by ELO. A computer calculated it and it’s on the internet, so it must be true and even the lyrics are happy too. As I was riding along singing it, I really did feel happy.

# I mean this word as a verb of course, don’t want to freak anyone out.

Here’s the happy song and link to article below.

I live in the hills just east of the city of Perth, Western Australia and I've loved cycling all my life, From riding to primary school when I was 8 years old to cycle touring as a grumpy old man. Cycling is freedom on two wheels and I love getting on my bike at any opportunity.

Thanks. We need less blue sky and more rain here.

Nice blue. Nice use of ‘verb’.

I’m pretty sure its not. We only let people in who are prepared to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks then pay for the privilege.

The blueness of your photo certainly outdoes any of my blue pictures. Unfortunately, I don’t see a bicycle in there anywhere, which, I believe, is grounds for disqualifying your picture from consideration for the “Cycle365 Most Blue Award.” It’s too bad too, because your picture was excellent. It’s just not fair that there has to be so many rules. Rest assured, I will mention that in my “Cycle365 Most Blue Award” acceptance speech.

Ha! I’ve been on a few high mtn peaks where it felt like that. It is the only time in my life I can say I was literally blown off my feet.

Glad you didn’t fall off the mountain. Which reminds me of an INXS song.
