MY Trans-Am ride ;’-)

I did a similar route that Kathleen had done. A little over 3 years ago I took Jaydon on the route with me. I was finally able to dig out the photos.

Jaydon is just shy of 6 years old here.

I *must* now post recent photos of my bike buddies, ;’-)

Jaydon at 9 years old…

His 6 year old sister Lucy…

…and his 4 year old sister Kaitlyn.

Forgive the bragging (step) Grandma, but I just could not help myself.

So great of you to start training the kids when they’re young. Along the Danube, we met up with a mom and a kiddie with no pedals on his bike. We biked on 7-8 miles more and while we were eating, the little fellow and his mom showed up. That little one is going to have strong legs by the time they felt he was ready for pedals!

We started all these Grands on no pedal bikes. Then it was short training to use pedal bikes when they were ready. A great way for kids to learn balance and bicycling.

What lucky kids to have a role model like you! I wish more parents and grandparents set an example of being active and getting out on bikes.

Thanks Em. We do keep them very active and love adventuring with them.
