November art challenge: some headless torsi

I’m not sure what the story is on these colorful statues in Montpellier.  Is it a single work of art, or a series of ancient works vandalized by spray painters?  Whatever we’re seeing here, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s much improved by the addition of a stylishly placed bicycle.

There was more to this day than great art though.  Check out our loop de Loup ride.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

Very interesting – I don’t think I have the head to figure out what it means though! I am woefully behind on your travels. Not sure when I’ll catch up as I’m very busy here at the moment. Hope you and Rachael are still having a wonderful ride on this particular adventure.

I agree that your well placed bike adds a lot of character, interest, beaurty and charm to this photo of multicolored statues.
