Paradise Ridge

My ace support crew reminded me she needed to pick up her Wine Club shipment at Paradise Ridge.

That winery burned to the ground in the October fires, and a temporary tasting room opened in Kenwood while the facility is being rebuilt at the original site. By my usual meandering route, Kenwood is about ten or twelve miles away, so I was glad to agree to a rendezvous there.

Maybe I’d even get a glass of wine.

They call me Old Grumble-Face. I have no idea why they do that....

That looked like a nice ride – sorry you have to take an extended expedition around the exclusionary suburb. Grrr….. It is good that the winery has a temporary locale while they rebuild.

Happy to hear Paradise Ridge reconstruction is underway.
Ive watched the videos taken by a reporter from the Press Democrat of the ongoing fires, which are quite literally heartbreaking to view.
Google satellite view shows the areas devastated — the street view shows them prior to the fire — there are no words, there just are no words 🙁
