Portland, old and new

It’s such a relief to have our tour of Southern Italy behind us so I can move on to the really important things in life – starting of course with the all-important Monthly Challenge.  It’s been frustrating to feel a bit upstaged this month by some of the heavy contributors, but with more time on my hands now I found FIVE (!!!!!) contenders just on my short ride to take Rodriguez down to the LBS for his annual physical.

I’m especially pleased with the featured image, since it cleverly brings in bricks from the May challenge as well.  The others are all great too imho, as you can see here if you wade past all the annoying verbiage about the last tour.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

It is a provocative mural, isn’t it? The sections outside the frame are interesting too, but the parked cars blocked too much of the view to include them.
