Rappahannock

I’m driving solo across the continent, with the Ogre in the back of the Forester. Some days I hop on the Ogre to ride a few miles out-and-back or in a loop. That slows my forward progress, but enables me to explore some interesting places along the way.

Seventh stop, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

They call me Old Grumble-Face. I have no idea why they do that....

It would appear the Mannahoac were proven correct.

Heat and Humidity — make the adventure more ‘memorable’ 😉

    Beautiful place!

You sure do see a lot on your short jaunts around the different areas. My kind of exploring. Before reading your caption about the columns under the I-95 bridge, I thought … hmmm, that kind of looks like someplace in Greece (though I have never been to Greece). Nice photos Bill, and I am learning about places I am not familiar with as your tag-along.

Rich, those were exactly my thoughts regarding Mannahoac when I read that historical marker.
