Red Aguilas

OK.  No more snake photos.  My friend Frank Hates snakes and says he’ll quit following my blog if I keep that up.  Plenty of reds though in Aguilas, a small coastal fishing town south of Valencia.  Poinsettias everywhere.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

Very nice shots – looks like a gorgeous day, too.

I laughed at the nap time shot. Whenever my Grandpa took my male cousins and me fishing when I was a kid… I felt very much like the napping kid. I thought fishing was the most boring thing in the world and I hated the idea of hurting the worms AND the fish!

Fishing never worked for me either, but I can relate to it. I think it just legitimizes staring at the sea for hours. Meditation for the machos.

Snakes give me the heebie-jeebies too. Some great photos there. Interesting that I saw some poinsettias on sale at a garden centre yesterday, I suppose the red is leaves and not flowers,

Really a nice perspective of all those reds. Beautiful place too it seems

It really is. I was surprised by Aguilas. I could live there pretty happily, I think.

I thought the snake picture was great. (Why am I always the contrarian?) But I’m also impressed by your photographic range–from a scary serpent ready to attack on one day, to pretty flowers and serene seascapes on the next.
